I was talking to my mom shortly after having my son about how amazing it is and how you just can’t understand the feeling until it happens to you. She mentioned how the bond between a mom and child is so strong because the mother carries them for 9 months. Moms get to feel every kick, their little hiccups, and all the other side effects that we may not love but still bond us with our baby. It made me a little sad that my husband will never get to experience that. Even the birth, it’s painful and exhausting and terrifying but looking back it’s something that forever connects you to your child. I so wish both parents could understand those feelings because it really is a miracle. Well that technology (at least to feel it) might not be too far off.
