Amazon Prime Day, It’s like Christmas morning only more exciting. Ah, can you smell the savings in the air?! I can. This year is going to be a good one. If you haven’t shopped it before, I’ll give you a rundown on how it works, my favorite purchases from previous years, and what I’m hoping to snag this year. Once the deals are live I’ll also have a list of all the best Amazon Prime Day deals for mom, dad, kids, the home, electronics, food, pets, and everything else you can think of. Amazon Prime Day Best Deals 2019: Baby, Home, Electronics Fashion & More
Let’s start with the basics. Amazon Prime day happens once a year in July. It’s grown from just 24 hours to about 36 hours of sales, lightning deals, deals of the day, and just reduced prices on thousands of items in every category.
This year the Prime Day Deals start July 15th and runs through July 16th.
The key to shopping this sale is to be an Amazon Prime member. I’ve had an Amazon Prime membership for about 7 years now and it is worth every single penny. I shop online a lot and the same-day, 1-day, and 2-day Prime shipping have been a lifesaver in multiple instances. We also watch a lot of Amazon Prime movies and TV shows (hello, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Goliath fans!) and use their Prime Photo and video storage services and subscription services that can save you up to an EXTRA 15% off your household supplies (think diapers, wipes, genie refills, cleaning products, etc).
If you are not a Prime member already, you can still shop the sale by signing up for a FREE 30 day trial of Amazon Prime. All you have to do is cancel your membership in the first month and you won’t be charged. You’ll simply get the benefit of shopping the biggest sale of the year + the free shipping, movies, TV, music and more that goes along with it. I can’t say you won’t be hooked on the convenience, prices, and extras, though.
