Works!!!!
So I’m going to start with saying that this has been such a relief to have. My son was in an awkward between stages and sizes for life vests. He’s 14 months old and 22 lbs. he walks and runs and likes his independence. However, he was too small for puddle jumpers even the 20 lbs ones bc he can’t hold himself upright in the water yet. So after trying a bunch of different styles and types this style was def the safest. He legit fell in the water almost immediately after putting it on and he floated right in his back.m! I only gave it 4 because it’s hard for him to run around in and bend over and explore but really that’s not going to be an issue for long it’s just the age.

After a lot of research, I’m very happy we decided to go with this product. We needed a life vest for the pontoon boat on the lake, and I was worried about fit and comfort, since our son was just about 11 weeks when we got this. It has all the safety features I was looking for. It also seemed like the most comfortable option, out of all the infant life vests I looked at. The baby didn’t love wearing it, but that’s to be expected. He did settle in and I was able to get some smiles and laughs out of him, and he took a bottle and a nice, long nap while wearing it. In the picture, he’s 11 weeks old (but he’s long- 99th percentile!) and it was big, but the straps all tightened to keep everything safely in place. It did ride up and get close to his face, which he didn’t like, but the v-neck helped a lot with that (it definitely could have been much worse). He fussed here and there with it on, but he’s a baby and that’s what they do! I would recommend this life vest to anyone!
